This 87.4 km loop sets off from Lanciano and rolls out past Palazzo Farnese, a castle that starts the story. Then it's nature reserve after nature reserve — Punta dell'Acquabella, the Lecceta di Torino di Sangro and Lago di Serranella — with the Sangro river slipping in between.
