The ride

Roll out of Hochdorf and let the route carry you past Schloss Knonau, then along the Lorze river to the shore of the Zugersee. Climb on toward Burg Hünenberg before the Reuss river brings you back toward home. With 72.5 km and 888 m of climbing, it's a loop that mixes castle views, water and a steady rise.
