Roll out of Jestetten and into Regionaler Naturpark Schaffhausen, a nature reserve, before the route follows the Thur and then the Töss. Castles come thick and fast: Schloss Wart, Ruine Freienstein and Burg Rotwasserstelz, with the Eggwald forest in between. It's 78.4 km, almost all on paved surface, and the climbing adds up to 1050 m. Then the road turns back toward Jestetten.
