You cross the Holzbach river, then follow the Holzbachtal nature reserve and the Schimmelsbachtal nature reserve before looping back through the Wiedaue bei Borod nature reserve. Along the way, 58.2 km of riding and 722 m of climbing keep the legs honest, with just over half the route unpaved. The finish lands right back where you started.
