Roll out from Parkeerplaats Breitinger Schönrain and the Lonetal opens with its nature reserve before the Eselsburger Tal takes over. Castles stack up along the way: Eselsburg, Kaltenburg and Schloss Niederstotzingen, then the Nauwald nature reserve and the Danube slopes and floodplains between Leipheim and Offingen. Schloss Leipheim rounds it off before the loop returns to the start. 81.6 km, almost all paved, with 607 m of climbing.
