The ride
From Bad Ditzenbach the road rolls out past Burgruine Helfenstein, a castle, then on through the Vögelestal und Oberes Lontal nature reserve. Schloss Wiesensteig, another castle, follows, before the ehemalige Burg Lichteneck and the Randecker Maar mit Zipfelbachschlucht nature reserve. With 92.0 km and 1818 m of climbing, all of it paved, the route then passes Ruine Hahnenkamm, a castle, and the Limburg nature reserve. Back to Bad Ditzenbach it goes.
