The ride
This 70.5 km loop sets off from Gignese and heads for the Torrente Agogna river, then on past the Monte Mesma nature reserve. Next comes the Torre castle, followed by the Torrente Strona di Omegna river and the Fondo Toce nature reserve. With 1112 m of climbing and a surface that is almost entirely paved, it rolls from river to reserve to castle and back to Gignese.
