From Coggiola the route heads out past the Torrente Sessera river and into the Oasi Zegna nature reserve, climbing all the way. Higher up comes the Lago delle Piane lake, then the Palazzo dei Principi Ferrero Fieschi di Masserano castle, before the road turns for home. Of the 59.8 km, most run unpaved, and the elevation gain adds up to 2792 m. Back to Coggiola, with plenty to talk about.
