Roll out of Dorzano and follow the Torrente Elvo before the route leads you into the Riserva naturale delle Baragge. Three castles line the way — Verrone, la Rocchetta and del Torrione — each one a marker that the next stretch is close. Then it's on through the Riserva naturale della Bessa and the Serra di Ivrea, with 57.5 km and 693 m of climbing in total. The loop brings you back to Dorzano, with plenty of variety under your wheels along the way.
