From Cozes you roll out on a route of 79.1 km, all of it paved, past the river La Seudre and on to the castle of Château de Beaulon. Next come the rivers Étier de Chassillac and Étier de Maubert, each one a quiet marker along the way. The ride closes through the Parc naturel marin de l'Estuaire de la Gironde et de la Mer des Pertuis, a nature reserve, before you turn back to Cozes with 377 m of climbing behind you.
