The ride
Roll out of Freyung and let the ride unfold: past Schloß Wolfstein, then along the Kleine Ohe, before the Obere Ilz nature reserve opens up ahead. From there the route follows the Ilz and the Wolfsteiner Ohe, with 57.7 km and 1485 m of climbing to keep legs honest. Unpaved makes up most of the surface, so expect a mixed day in the saddle. Back to Freyung where it all began.
