Roll out from Parkeerplaats Wendelstein and let the route unfold: first the Wendelstein nature reserve, then past Schloß Münchhausen and Wasserburg Heldrungen, two castles in a row. On through the Schmücke forest and along the Helme river, before Burg Wendelstein and Schleuse Wendelstein bring you back to where you started. It's 80.2 km with 282 m of climbing, almost all of it paved.
