Roll out of Neufahrn bei Freising and the ride unfolds past the Panzerwiese und Hartelholz nature reserve before the Hartelholz woods take over. Schloss Lustheim, a castle, marks the middle stretch, then it's on through the Mallertshofer Holz mit Heiden nature reserve and across the Garchinger Heide heath. With 61.5 km and 139 m of climbing, most of it runs unpaved, and the loop brings you back to where you started.
