Roll out from Parkeerplaats Apfelwörth and straight into the Apfelwörth nature reserve, then on through the Griesbuckellandschaft Demmingen. Two castles follow, Schloss Amerdingen and Schloss Donaumünster, before the route runs through Naturpark Augsburg - Westliche Wälder and the FFH-Gebiet Westerried nördlich Wertingen. Of the 75.2 km, almost all is paved, with a small unpaved share and 464 m of climbing. It ends back at the parking area where it began.
