The ride
Roll out from Parkeerplaats Nürburg and straight into the Nürburg nature reserve, then past the castle ruin that shares its name. The road climbs to the Hohe Acht nature reserve and the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Turm viewpoint, before looping through the Rhein-Ahr-Eifel and Vulkaneifel nature reserves. Of the 58.4 km, most runs unpaved, with 1551 m of climbing along the way. Back to where you started.
