The ride
From Parkeerplaats Aremberg you roll straight into the Aremberg nature reserve, then past the castle Ruine Wensburg. The route climbs through Naturpark Hohes Venn-Eifel and Rhein-Ahr-Eifel, both nature reserves, before a final stretch along Bülgesbach mit Hangwäldern. With 63.7 km and 1693 m of climbing, mostly unpaved, it's a loop that keeps giving. Back at the parking area, you've linked castle, reserves and woods in one ride.
