Roll out of Daun and the castles come thick and fast: Burg Daun, then Oberburg Ulmen, then Niederburg Manderscheid. Between them the route slips through the Dauner Maare, past the Pulvermaar mit Römerberg und Strohner Märchen, the Holzmaar and the Meerfelder Maar. It's 83.7 km with 1599 m of climbing, almost all on paved surface. Back to Daun to finish.
