Roll out from Parkeerplaats Zollerhalde and the climbing begins: 79.0 km with 1078 m of elevation, all on paved surface. First up is the Zollerhalde nature reserve, then three castles in a row — Neues Schloss, Gomaringer Schloss and Burgruine Hohenmelchingen. After Hinterer Falken castle, the route threads through the Wacholderbusch, Geifitze and Längenloch nature reserves. Then it's back to where you started.
