The ride

Roll out from Parkeerplaats Schlämmteiche bei Geismar and let the ride unfold: first past the Pfingstgemeinde nature reserve near Zennern, then on through the Ederauen meadows. Two castles follow, Felsburg and Burg Heiligenberg, before the Goldbergsee and Borkener See nature reserves break up the middle. Burg Niederurff and Schloss Friedrichstein round things off, and then it's back to where you started. It's 99.5 km, all of it paved.
