The ride

From Fontaine you roll out and back on a 62.6 km loop, three quarters of it unpaved. The route follows the Ruisseau de Saint-Nicolas, then the Saint-Nicolas and La Madeleine rivers, before the La Bourbeuse river turns you toward home. With 499 m of climbing spread along the way, the rivers keep you company as the kilometres tick by.
