Roll out from Parkeerplaats Auflandeteich Groß Bülten-Adenstedt and the route soon slips into the Hämeler Wald forest. Next comes the Hämeler Wald und Sohrwiesen nature reserve, then the Burgdorfer Aue river, before the Hahnenkamp nature reserve turns you back toward the start. It's 74.3 km with 176 m of climbing, almost all on paved surface. Forest, water, and open ground, all in one loop.
