Roll out from Parkeerplaats Dreiherrenstein-Eschenberg-Kreutzerberg and straight into the Dreiherrenstein-Eschenberg-Kreutzerberg nature reserve. Then it's castle after castle — Graburg nature reserve, Alte Burg, Graue Schloss, Rotes Schloss — before the Naturpark Thüringer Wald takes over. A loop of 75.6 km with 1150 m of climbing, nearly all on paved surface. Schloss Lüderbach and the Feuchtwiesen bei Lüderbach wetlands round it off before you roll back to the start.
