Roll out of Espalion and let the ride unfold: first the river Le Lot, then the castle at Verrières, before La Coussane and the castle of Estaing keep the scenery moving. On it goes past the castle at Le Bousquet and the river La Selves, with 1403 m of climbing spread across the day. The Hôtel de Ville castle marks the later stretch, and then it's back to Espalion where you started.
