Roll out from Parkeerplaats Waldhaus and let the Oker valley unfold. Climb to the Bismarckturm viewpoint, then follow the river through the Oker- und Eckertal nature reserve toward the Burgruine Vienenburg. Past the Okertal reserve and the castle at Hornburg, the route turns for home over the Kleiner Fallstein. Most of the 65.4 km runs unpaved, so expect a mixed day in the saddle.
