Roll out from Parkeerplaats Lombachtal and straight into the Lombachtal nature reserve, then onward past Burg Overbach, Schloß Allner and Burg Wissem, castle after castle. The route slips through the Aggeraue zwischen Lohmar und Siegburg, past Burg Lohmar, and into the Katzbachtal nature reserve before the Agger. Of the 74.4 km, almost all is paved, with a small unpaved share. Then it's back to where you started.
