The ride

This 76.6 km loop rolls out from Parkeerplaats Kiesgrube von Niederhadamar, soon passing the Kiesgrube nature reserve and the Kalksteinbruch bei Hadamar. Onward it climbs 1195 m past Schloss Hadamar, then Burg Merenberg, before the Wehrley von Runkel nature reserve and Burg Runkel. The Runkeler Laach nature reserve leads to Schloss Limburg, and the road back is 98% paved with a touch of unpaved. It ends where it began, at the Kiesgrube car park.
