Roll out of Linz am Rhein and past Burg Linz, then into the Rhein-Ahr-Eifel nature reserve before meeting the Rhein itself. Climb on to Burg Altenwied, drop through the Berschaue nature reserve, and follow the Wied. It's 87.6 km, all paved, with 1585 m of climbing, and it finishes back in Linz am Rhein.
