Roll out of Bad Windsheim and the ride unfolds past the Külsheimer Gipshügel nature reserve, then on through the Steigerwald and Frankenhöhe nature reserves. Four castles follow in turn: Schloss Neuhof, Schloß Virnsberg, Rotes Schloß and Blaues Schloß. With 882 m of climbing over 87.2 km, the route stays 99% paved and 0% unpaved. Then it's back to Bad Windsheim where it all began.
