The ride

Roll out of Petrignano and follow the Chiascio river before the road climbs into the Monte Subasio nature reserve. Past the Topino river you reach the Castello di Rosciano, a castle that breaks up the ride nicely. Later the Tevere river leads you by the Rocca Paolina fort and Palazzo Sorbello, another castle, before the loop brings you home. With 1095 m of climbing, it's a lively day out.
