The ride

Roll out of Valls for a loop that strings castles together like beads. Past the castle of Creixell and on to Torredembarra's castle, the road keeps you rolling before you cross the Riu Gaià. Next come the castles of Catllar and Vallmoll, then it's back to where you began. All 71.0 km are paved, with 709 m of climbing to keep the legs honest.
