Roll out of Canjáyar and the road soon runs beside the Río Andarax, with the Sierra Nevada nature reserve rising ahead. Past the Rambla de las Ánimas you climb on toward the Fortaleza «Pago de los Nietos», a castle on the way. All 79.9 km are paved, and the route brings you back to Canjáyar.
