Castles through Guadix

The ride

Roll out of Guadix and the castles come first: past the Alcazaba, the Palacio de los Condes de Villa Alegre, the Palacio de Peñaflor and the Palacio Episcopal. Then the route follows the Río Guadix out of town and climbs into the Parque Natural Sierra de Baza. Of the 60.8 km, most is unpaved, and the ride gathers 857 m of climbing before bringing you back to Guadix.
