Roll out of Ramales de la Victoria and follow the Río Gándara before the road climbs past the castle of Akla Hotel Palacio Torre de Ruesga. On you go by the Río Campiazo and the Palacio de La Colina, then into the Parque Natural de las Marismas de Santoña, Victoria y Joyel. A last castle, Casona de El Carmen, and the Río Carranza lead you home, with 68.1 km of paved road and 1483 m of climbing in the legs.
