Roll out of Bayeux and follow the Aure and Drôme rivers before the road skirts the Cerisy forest nature reserve. Castles stack up along the way, from La Boullaye to the Manoir de la Rivière, then the Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin nature reserve opens up. Bernesq and Sully castles round things off before the loop brings you home. It's 76.9 km, all paved, with 530 m of climbing.
