Roll out of Féchain and let the castles come to you: first the Château de Gœulzin, then on through the Scarpe-Escaut nature reserve toward the Château de Rieulay. The Étang des Argales lake and the Tour d'Ostrevant keep the scenery changing, before the route follows the Escaut and its canalised stretch. All 83.1 km run on paved surface, with 329 m of climbing, and the loop brings you back to Féchain.
