Castles along the Sanguinara

The ride

This 59.4 km loop sets off from Marina di San Nicola and rolls past the castle of Castellaccio dei Monteroni before following the Vaccina and Sanguinara rivers. With 486 m of climbing spread across paved and unpaved lanes, it keeps the legs interested without ever getting too serious. The route then passes Castello Odescalchi before turning back toward the coast. You finish where you started, in Marina di San Nicola.
