Waterside route along Le Layon

The ride

From Mûrs-Erigné the route rolls out past the river Le Louet and on to the Aubance, then skirts the castle at Brissac. Next comes the Loire-Anjou-Touraine nature reserve, followed by the windmill of Gasté before the Layon river leads you home. It's 74.2 km with 495 m of climbing, and nearly all of it paved.
