Roll out of Abcoude and the Vechtplassen nature reserve opens the ride, before Trompenburgh castle appears along the way. Then it's on through Landgoed Spanderswoud and past Wolfsbergen, Boekesteyn and Swaenenburgh castles in turn. Zanderij Cruysbergen and the Naardermeer nature reserve round out the loop, all 59.5 km of it paved, before you roll back into Abcoude.
