From Hofheim in Unterfranken you roll out past the Ellertshäuser See nature reserve, then along the Talhänge der Lauer near Stadtlauringen and through Naturpark Haßberge. The Sulzfelder Schloss and Schloss Eichelsdorf castles sit along the way, with the Fränkische Saale flowing nearby, before the loop returns to Hofheim. It's 77.3 km with 730 m of climbing, almost all on paved surface.
