Roll out of Gotha and past Schloss Friedenstein, Winterpalais and Schloss Friedrichsthal, castle after castle before the road turns green. Then it's the Seeberg nature reserve, the Siebleber Teich nature reserve and the Fahner Höhe nature reserve, one after another. The Nesse river runs alongside before the loop brings you home to Gotha. Of the 56.7 km, most is unpaved, with paved stretches mixed in.
