From Parkeerplaats Ichterloh you roll out past Schloss Westerwinkel, then on to Haus Venne and Haus Ermelinghof, three castles in a row. Between them the route slips through Tibaum and Beversee, both nature reserves, before the Lippeaue von Werne bis Heil and the Feuchtgebietskomplex zwischen Landwehrstraße und Datteln-Hamm-Kanal. Of the 76.6 km, 54% is paved and 47% unpaved, with 296 m of climbing along the way. Schloss Nordkirchen is the last castle before the loop returns to Ichterloh.
