The ride
From Grafenstein you roll out along the Glan river before climbing into the Kreuzbergl nature reserve. Three castles follow in quick succession — Freyenthurn, Hallegg and Seltenheim — then it's up through the Ehrentaler Berg reserve. Past Schloss Ottmanach the route drops back to the Gurk river and returns to where you started, 84.5 km later.
