The ride

Roll out of Bad Schandau and follow the Elbe before climbing past Rittergut Prossen, a castle, into the Nationalpark-Kernzone nature reserve. Next come Burg Altrathen, another castle, and the Basteibrücke viewpoint, then Burgruine Wehlen, a castle ruin. After the Märzenbecherwiese nature reserve and the Unger nature reserve, 63.1 km with 1354 m of climbing bring you back to Bad Schandau.
