Roll out from Parkeerplaats Spargründe bei Dohna and the climbing begins: past Burg Dohna, then Landschloß Zuschendorf and Schloß Friedrichsthal, castle after castle. The route stays paved the whole way, 75.1 km with 1356 m of elevation gain. Between the castles you cross the Hochstein - Karlsleite and Oelsen nature reserves, then Weicholdswald, before rolling back to where you started.
