The ride

From Hallignicourt the route rolls out to the river La Marne, then follows the Blaise onward to the shores of Lac du Der-Chantecoq. Next you ride beside the Canal Entre Champagne et Bourgogne before turning back to the start. Along the way, 76.4 km and 357 m of climbing keep things varied, with 95% paved and 5% unpaved. Rivers, a lake and a canal, all in one loop from the village.
