Roll out of Montier-en-Der and let the route carry you along La Voire, the river that sets the early rhythm. Further on, Château de la Chaise rises into view before La Laines picks up the thread and leads you homeward. The loop runs 75.9 km with 570 m of climbing, and the surface is almost entirely paved with just a sliver of unpaved to keep you honest. Back in Montier-en-Der, the day closes where it began.
