Roll out of Tonnay-Boutonne and let the ride unfold along the water. You follow La Charente, then La Boutonne, before the route skirts the Parc naturel marin de l'Estuaire de la Gironde et de la Mer des Pertuis, a nature reserve where land meets sea. La Devise rounds things off as you turn for home. It's 73.7 km on paved surface the whole way, with 363 m of climbing spread across the loop.
