Rondje Château de Panloy en La Charente

The ride

Roll out of Saintes and follow the Charente, the river that sets the tone for the day. The route then turns castle-hunting: past the Logis du gouverneur de Saintes, on to the Château de Crazannes and the Château de Panloy. Of the 73.4 km, most of it runs unpaved, with 380 m of climbing along the way. Then it's back to where you started, in Saintes.
