Roll out of De Klomp and let the ride unfold. You pass the windmill Op Hoop Van Beter, then roll through the Amerongse Bovenpolder and the Uiterwaarden Neder-Rijn nature reserves. Kasteel Amerongen and the fort Voorwerk op de Asschatterkeerkade follow, before the Kasteelbos Renswoude and Kasteel Renswoude round things off. Almost all of the 67.9 km is paved, and the elevation stays gentle.
