Roll out from Parkeerplaats Großer Aue-See and let the ride unfold. The route runs through Altes Moor and Piewitzfeld, both nature reserves, before the Bastauwiesen wetlands and on to the Windmühle Struckhof windmill. Next come the Ellerburger Wiesen, then Ellerburg castle and its watermill, the Ellerburger Mühle. All 73.0 km are paved, with 445 m of climbing along the way, and the loop brings you back to where you started.
